Today in science class, Students of Class 7A2 explored the density of liquids and objects using a simple but surprising experiment: placing a lemon in plain water vs. salty water!
In regular water, the lemon sank. But in salt water, it floated!
Why? Adding salt increases the water’s density, making it easier for the lemon to stay afloat.
A fun way to see science in action try it at home!
