Suraj School, Bawal Sector-2, Celebrates Annual Day with the Theme “Parakram: Story of Courage”
Bawal, 23rd February 2025: Suraj School, Bawal Sector-2, celebrated its grand Annual Day function on 23rd February 2025 with great enthusiasm. The theme of this year’s event, “Parakram: Story of Courage,” highlighted the spirit of bravery and resilience through multiple inspiring performances by the students.
The event was honored by the presence of the Sarpanchs of nearby villages as the Guests of Honour, who encouraged the students with their motivating words. The program was excellently hosted by Mr. Hitender Singh, PGT-English, whose energetic presentation kept the audience engaged throughout the event. Dr. Harish Prasad, Director of the school, and Dr. Vijay Yadav, Principal, welcomed the esteemed guests, parents, and students.
In his address, Dr. Harish Prasad praised the students for their dedication and hard work. He said, “Courage is not the absence of fear but the determination to overcome it. Today, our students have beautifully showcased that bravery is not just about grand acts but also about facing everyday challenges with confidence.” He encouraged students to strive for excellence and never fear failure, as it is a stepping stone to success.
Principal Dr. Vijay Yadav also applauded the efforts of the students and teachers. She said, “Education is not just about academics; it is about shaping strong, resilient individuals who can face life’s challenges with courage. I am immensely proud of our students who have proved their mettle not only in studies but also in sports and extracurricular activities.”
The event featured captivating performances that depicted real-life stories of valor and determination. Students enacted inspiring tales of historical and modern-day heroes, leaving the audience spellbound.

IIT-JEE Mains 2025 Qualifiers: Neha Yadav (D/O Jitender Yadav), Sanskar Yadav (S/O Pawan Kumar), and Siddhartha Yadav (S/O Vinod Kumar).
CA Foundation 2025 Qualifier: Nimish Gupta (S/O Vinod Kumar).
International Olympiad Gold Medalists: Ojasvi Rose (D/O Rakesh Kumar) and Lavi (D/O Bablu).
National-Level Shooting Champion: Harshit Chauhan.
The function concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by a celebratory lunch for all attendees. The Annual Day celebration was a true testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence, resilience, and bravery among its students.
