Activity
Students conducted an activity in their school yard to show the leaf venation and its types. They traced different kinds of leaves to observe arrangements of veins whether they are reticulate or parallel.
Observation :
Reticulate venation : veins and veinlets are unevenly dispersed throughout the whole lamina in certain leaves, producing a network. Veins are joined in this way to produce a web-like network.
Parallel venation : Development of parallel veins from the leaf blade’s base to the tip.
