‘Sarpanch Sangoshti’ at Suraj School Rewari
On 9th November 2024, Suraj School Rewari organized a unique and insightful event, ‘Sarpanch Sangoshti,’ which brought together village heads from various nearby villages for an engaging discussion. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom.
Dr. Harish Prasad, the esteemed Director of Suraj School, welcomed the sarpanches, appreciating their presence and commitment to community welfare. He highlighted the significance of such a gathering to foster mutual understanding and promote development initiatives at the grassroots level.
The school Principal, Ms. Bindu Sharma, also extended her gratitude to the village leaders for taking time out of their busy schedules to participate in this important event.
Adding a creative element to the gathering, students performed an engaging skit, depicting rural life and the role of sarpanches in community welfare. The performance received much appreciation and helped underscore the importance of leadership at the village level.
The event concluded with a round of discussions, where ideas were shared, and future collaborations were envisioned, making ‘Sarpanch Sangoshti’ a memorable and meaningful event for all attendees.
