INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
To Commemorate the 77th Independence Day of India and to develop a patriotic feeling, like every year the “Junior Wing of Suraj School” assembled in the assembly ground and celebrated it with great joy on 14th August 2023.
The day started with a Special Assembly from tiny tots where the light was thrown on the importance of Independence Day. They performed a Patriotic Dance for the theme song “Nanna Munna Rahi Hoon”.
Fancy Dress was also organized for the students of NLU to 2nd. Students were dressed in beautiful costumes depicting the role of freedom fighters, great poets and leaders like Subhash Chandra Bose, Rani Lakshmi Bai, Bhagat Singh, Jawahar Lal Nehru, Kittur Rani Chennamma, Indira Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore etc. All the participants came on the stage turn by turn and spoke a few lines about their characters. Dressing up for Independence Day inculcated a feeling of patriotism in children. JAI HIND JAI BHARAT
