Suraj School, Rewari celebrated the Kargil Vijay Diwas” on July 28, 2024 to remember India’s war victory and pay tribute to the indomitable spirit and unwavering courage of our soldiers who laid down their lives to defend our nation’s honour. Their valor will forever inspire us.
The Event was enlighted having Chief Guests Mr.Mukesh retired Naval officer Gallantry award winner by the President of India. Mr. Jaiprakash, Mr. Vikram, Mr. Mahaveer Retired Army officers. They shared their experiences and values with the parents as well as students.
The students commemorated the day with, songs and skits on bravery of soldiers, and filled the entire atmosphere with patriotism, followed by inspirational and emotional skit with dance which made us felt proud of our soldiers and our country. Teachers and students together paid homage to the soldiers who lost their precious lives in making our country safe and secure.
The school Principal Ms. Bindu Sharma emphasized the importance of discipline, hard work, and integrity. As per her, these principles are aligned with the ethos of our armed forces and students have a responsibility to uphold these values and contribute positively to society. She said education is not just about academic excellence but also about building character and instilling a sense of duty towards our country.
Overall, the celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers who protect our nation.
