Industrial visit is now considered as a part of curriculum activities for the development of the students
Keeping this in mind, Suraj School, Rewari on Friday, July 12, 2024 organized a trip to ‘Parle – G Factory at Neemrana with a motive to provide students practical insights into the functioning of a large-scale manufacturing unit and to understand the processes involved in the production of Parle G biscuits, a household name in India. Staff and students were warmly welcomed by the factory staff and were escorted to the conference room where an introductory session was held. During this session, a representative from Parle G briefed students about the history of the company, its mission, and its significant contributions to the Indian food industry. After that students were taken on a guided tour of the factory where we saw the process of biscuit making. Students were also shown a video on how Parle-G products are made. It was a great learning experience for all. As a token of as a token of gratitude, all the students were given pack of biscuits which they all enjoyed on their way back to school.
