As I mentioned in my address, I studied in a government school where there were no sports and no extracurricular activities that are so important for the all-round development of a child’s personality. Looking at the infrastructure of the school, the teacher-student ratio, the performance of the students both in academics and sports as well as the cultural performance yesterday, I feel proud that a school such as yours is ensuring that your students will not only excel in their selected fields but also will contribute effectively for the betterment of the society. Yesterday was a historical day for *Kairvina* and more so for us. As the name suggested, today’s annual day was a spectacular event. We as parents were filled with enthusiasm and exuberance. The entire school management, teachers and our darling highlanders gave an amazing show. We were transported to another world altogether. What a musical extravaganza it was. Dance, music and drama all were just superb.
