Festivals promote feelings of social cohesion and communal harmony.
Echoing this sentiment, SURAJ SCHOOL REWARI celebrated Ganesh Visarjan on 28th September 2023
The festivities began with the traditional ‘aarti’. The assembled students sang along with much fervor and devotion to Lord Ganesha, who is believed to be the symbol of wisdom and the remover of obstacles.
As a grand culmination of the celebration, it was time for the farewell procession or Ganesh Visarjan. Amidst chantings of, “Ganapati Bappa Morya, Pudhchya Varshi Laokar Ya!” the students carried the idol to the front lawn of the school, where a pool of water was waiting for the immersion of Lord Ganesh. The students bid a final farewell to their favorite God, waiting anxiously for his visit next year. Ganapati Bappa Morya!
