We see shapes everywhere in our surroundings. We had conducted a “Shapes Activity” for our 1st class toddlers. This activity was conducted to develop and deepen the knowledge of different shapes among the learners. Learning shapes not only help them to identify and organize visual information; it also helps them to develop skills in other curriculum areas like literacy, numeracy, and theme.
Shapes teach learners to think about the attributes of objects and make observations about similarities and differences, so they can relate the objects around them.The children enjoyed the activity lot and had a lot of fun.
